A Poem for my daughter :)

I am so happy that we have made it through a wondrous year with our little angel, that I wrote her a poem. Now I am no artist but I think I did a pretty good job in expressing Amelia and how we feel about her. So here it is my first Poem :) 

Amelia

My darling daughter how much you've grown

I love you more than you'll ever know

From your rosy cheeks 

To your tiny feet 

You are wonderful

Your smart, sassy, sweet

The joy in your giggle can't be beat

You are Cheerful

Your eyes light up the world

With brown, green, blue hues all swirled 

You are beautiful

Your mommy's and daddy's greatest blessing

Your happy here and I'm not guessing

You are our everything

Our love for you forever growing

You are Blissful

Blessed Birthday!

That's right! Yesterday was not only my 22nd birthday but it was also my little angels 1st :)

How wonderful was it you ask? It was honestly one of my best!

This year has gone by so fast and has been the best year of my life, bar none!!! All thanks to my wonderful husband, daughter and family!

We had had loads of happy birthdays and felt a lot of love this week. Amelia smashed two cakes and ate a mountain of  ice cream. She received lots of clothes, kisses, toys and smiles. 

I am so blessed to be surrounded by so much family and friends that have so much love for my little family. 

Me and my husband talked all day yesterday how blessed we are to have each other, while we played with our daughter in the floor, and how blessed we are that one year ago we had our sweet, sassy, smart Amelia. How are lives would not be complete with out her.

Dear Amelia although I love how sweet and goofy you are in the morning can we move the wake up time from 6am to maybe 7am.

  Dear little boy next door, Amelia loves to play with you, thank you for getting over your fear of the sprinkler and having fun yesterday. Amelia had a blast too!

Dear husband it sucks that you keep getting called in to work on the day's I have a ton of stuff planned, I know it's not your fault, it just sucks!

Sometimes and Always #1

Sometimes: I dream that Amelia will sleep late

Always: She wakes mommy up at 6:30am

Sometimes: I try and make a budget for us to follow all month

Always: We end up breaking it

Sometimes: I try to do CIO with Amelia now that she is about to turn one and can understand more

Always: I end up not being able to take it and snuggle her anyway

Sometimes: I say that I will put Amelia in a regular outfit with no bells and whistles

Always: I end up putting a bow in her hair anyway (she is just so darn adorable)

Sometimes: I think that I am doing this whole parenting mama thing wrong

Always: My wonderful husband reassures me and tells me I am wonderful mom and Amelia's smile is all the proof I need. :)

Yesterday was my husbands birthday, I wish I could of posted this then but alas it was a long busy day. Jake worked all day in 90 degree weather walking the mall. He works so hard to support us and their really is no words to express how good of a man he is. He truly is my knight in shining armor, and the biggest blessing to me and our daughter. Happy birthday honey I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Wordless Wednesday

Slacker :P

Yup that's me a slacker. I haven't posted in a while because I have been lazy busy.

I am happy to announce though, that me and my mother went birthday shopping this weekend and bought the majority of Amelia's birthday party stuff. Dress, decorations, cake, food, paper products, all ready for her big day. I also worked for hours the Sunday on Amelia's first year video. We are going to play it at her party and it is coming along wonderfully. I can't wait to show all of you! It is such a weight off my shoulders that just about everything is handled for her 1st.

I am also happy to announce that me and Jake are pretty well set for our birthdays as well. Jake's birthday party is today and it is going to be simple and at his grandma's house. Plus his best friend (that he has known since they were 4) is coming over to join the fun. For my birthday, I am hoping me and my mom and sis can have dinner and a movie together.

Last, I have also figured out what Jake is getting for his first father's day. He L-O-V-E-S cookie cake and Publix is having a decorate your own cookie cake for fathers day. So Amelia is going to decorate his cake and give it to him on father's day. So simple and perfect!

So many plans and so much fun!

Whats on my mind today?  Birthdays!

Yes this month is full of them for our family.

Jacob: June 14      Mine and Amelia's: June 28

On top of our little family's birthdays we also have Jacob's first fathers day on the 17.

Yup you could say I have a lot on my mind and plate. To kinda bring down our list a little bit, me and Jake decided last year that we would celebrate our birthday's on the same day. Also for father's day, the plan is to just have a day of total relaxation for Jake. So that brings the parties form 4 to 2. A birthday party for me and Jake and a birthday party for Amelia.

As for right now I have no idea what we are doing for mine and Jake's birthday. :(

However...

I have to say that I am super stoked for Amelia's first birthday! I mean can you believe that the person that posts hundreds of pics of her daughter is sooooo excited for the big ONE.

We finally know where we are going to have it. I have it booked and we are set to go :)
 I do have an idea what we are doing for her invites (but that is for another post : P )
We were doing Minnie mouse for the theme but trying to find everything Minnie mouse was a pain in the a$$. So now the "theme" is  pink and first birthday. Sweet and simple :) I am looking for something like the pics below.

I can't wait till everything comes together. Be prepared to a huge 1st birthday post at the end of the month!
